About Ali Lochhead
With U2 lead singer Bono visiting The Pope in Italy, during his bid to eradicate third world debt.
Live on Loction in London for Sky News, working with phenominal colleagues. (My name was Ali Jack.)
As a young journalist I cut my teeth on the ‘Iron Lady’, the British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher.
Hanging out in Paris with my partner, Jac. Thank you to everyone who’s been part of the journey and everyone I’ve yet to meet.
Brilliance and Brutality
I learned about human behaviour interviewing tens of thousands of people as a broadcast journalist — presidents, prime ministers, the Dalai Lama, royalty, rock stars, and those facing and often overcoming considerable challenges.
I saw our brilliance and brutality. I felt our kindness and our suffering.
As the one holding the mic, I was the one asking the questions — but the answers, and those conversations, influenced me deeply.
I resolved to help us elevate our human experience.
Unmasking Authenticity
I learned about my own behaviour working with Princess Diana’s personal Voice Coach, as he set about uncovering my authentic voice.
“So many people are poor imitations of poor imitations,” he explained.
Life was great — I had my dream job, presenting live to millions, with two wonderful children at home and a boyfriend I adored.
But I battled a vicious inner critic, my love life got messy, and Chardonnay’s not the best way to manage stress…
Even though I had it all, I knew there was more. I didn’t know what it was, but I was determined to find it.
Intelligent Performance
The persistent unresolved questions were:
Why do we behave as we do, personally and collectively?
How can we show up in more intelligent ways?
Equipped with the rigorous research and journalistic skills I’d acquired, I went on a mission to find the answers.
I discovered we mostly operate at levels far lower than we’re capable of — despite great achievements. And, largely thanks to developments in neuroscience, more advanced cognitive abilities can be trained.
I trained with a range of coaches and, consolidating all my findings, developed an integrated coaching system.
Our New Evolution
After millennia of limited, and often destructive, thinking, I believe we now have an extraordinary opportunity to change our experience and shape our new evolution. If we choose.
